Extending the Reach

In 1975 Holloway Schulz was the third firm in Canada to join National Personnel Associates (NPA), a cooperative network of independent recruitment firms established in the U.S. in the 1950's. At the time there were some 150 firms in North America. There are now over 450 firms world-wide with representatives in the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, as well as the US and Canada.

Since the early 90's the firm has also been members of The American Association of Accounting and Finance (AAFA), a North American group of over 40 firms which cooperates in the placement of Finance and Accounting professionals.

These affiliations, together with other strategic partnerships, enable us to serve our clients and candidates better. For example, we can help a Canadian based client who needs to hire sales people in New York, Texas and California, or we can assist a candidate who is moving to another city, or we can help a Toronto affiliate's client find a Branch Manager in Vancouver.

Over the years our firm and our consultants have won many awards from NPA including Top Canadian Firm (based on split placements) several times and the top firm in all of North America in 1992. We have also been the top firm in Sales/Marketing placements and consistently place in the top three or four in Canada (out of 40). Partner, Clive Holloway, served two terms of two years each as Canadian Vice President of NPA.

Similarly, Bill Schulz - Partner and Co-Founder of Holloway Schulz - has been a member of the Rotary Club of Vancouver since 1983 and has served in many capacities, including President of the Rotary Club of Vancouver for the 2000-2001 fiscal year.
